LTVEC Extended Learning Director Becomes a Mentor

Our extended learning director, Jana Hackworth, recently took an additional position as an extended learning mentor for the TN Department of Education. Today she and her fellow upper East TN mentors held an amazing training on incorporating plant based eating and education into our extended learning programs. The training was entirely hands-on and everyone loved preparing and eating the food! Special thanks to Rebecca Portman from the Humane Society for speaking and sharing such a fun day!

All of us at Little TN Valley are proud of the work Jana has done to make our Extended Learning Program a huge success and are so excited to see her mentor other programs around East Tennessee!
